I am Pamela, the founder of Tans by Pam and Everglo Tan. When I was in college, I began tanning but spent too much time in UV tanning beds. Three family members had been diagnosed with skin cancer and I immediately stopped my unhealthy tanning addiction. When I first moved to San Diego from Boston in 2014, I knew I wanted a safer way to achieve a flawless glow. I then started getting spray tans from a local spray tan artist. We had an instant connection and before I knew it, she was teaching me how to spray tan and run a tanning business! After that, I got my first tanning kit and I started tanning friends out of my tiny one bedroom kitchen.

Then, I started offering mobile tans when I lost my full-time job. After that, I opened a salon in La Jolla with a business partner. Now, I am back to doing mobile tans and also offering tans in my local neighborhood of Pacific Beach. Being a spray tan artist has brought me so much joy, especially after a client tags me in their photos, shares my business, and refers others to me. The biggest compliment is a referral, and I am eternally grateful for all my amazing and glowing clients!

In my spare time, I enjoy going on hikes, playing with my dogs, connecting with my girlfriends, and exploring new places with my partner.
