Sun-kissed Success
Exfoliate: Get ready for your tan by exfoliating the night before. Scrub away dead skin, shave, and pamper your face with a scrub or mask. Rinse with cool water to ensure a clean body for your tan.
Skincare Day of: Arrive at your appointment with fresh, makeup-free, and lotion-free skin. Remember, no jewelry (except the permanent kind). Make this your last beauty stop - nails, facials, massages, and waxing should be done 24-48 hours prior to your tan.
Dress the Part: Go for long, dark, loose clothing and sandals to avoid tan lines. Tight attire like sports bras and jeans can damage the tan's development. At home, relax in a comfy long-sleeve pajama top and loose pants.
During Development: Stay dry! No workouts, dishes, or sweat sessions. Keep those cute fur babies away, and if you're sipping a drink, use a straw to avoid accidental spillage (we've all been there).
Quick Fixes: If you spot a smudge or water mark, don't stress. Think of the solution as a cosmetic bronzer - blend the area with a makeup brush or sponge, and it'll look seamless.
Rinse and Shine: Depending on your development time (3-8 hours), hop in a lukewarm shower. Use your hands to remove excess bronzer. No oils or exfoliating beads, please. After your rinse, moisturize for that radiant, sun-kissed glow! ☀️🌴😎
